As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

• The submission for Journal of Social Sciences, Humanities and Research in Education (JOSSHE) has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
• If the work has already been published, in a preliminary or reduced version, in Anais (proceedings), this must be informed (in “comments to the editor”), at the time of submission, to prevent the work from being summarily filed as "not unpublished".
• The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, document file format (.doc).
